The LRT line raises to the surface via a portal located just to the west of 95 St. It then crosses 95 St. which required the building of an overhead intersection with the trolleybus overhead. The train is limited to its speed in this section becausethe height of the wire increases/ decreases faster than the pantographs on a train at regular speed would be able to react to. Heading north the train reaches a double crossover and then crosses 92 St at grade. It is in then straight running through to Stadium Station. Along the former CN right of way is a portion of track remaining from when the CN line, last used by VIA to reach its old downtown station, is still in place after the rest of the rail was lift.
