King County Metro
King County Metro operates the transit system in Seattle/ King County. This system is one of 5 in the US operating trolleybuses, including a fleet of Breda dual mode buses which operate above ground on diesel power, and in the trolley tunnel
underneath 3 Ave in Downtown on electricity. The Breda's are currently being
removed from this service by the arrival DE60LF's. The trolley fleet currently also includes Gillig 40' trolleybuses, MAN SG-T310 articulated trolleybuses, and
Breda's dual modes buses made to run as just trolleys. The diesel bus fleet currently includes Gillig 30', 35' and 40' buses, New Flyer D60's,
DE60LF's and D60LF's just being delivered. MAN "Americana" SL40-102L's have been
all retired recently.
